On the morning of January 19, 2019, the Program on Career Orientation and University Enrollment Consultancy in 2019 was organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Higher Education Department (MOET), General Department of Vocational Education (MOLISA) in coordination with DOET of Nghe An Province, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and Vinh University at High School for Gifted Students- Vinh University.

The participants included Sai Cong Hong, PhD., Deputy Director of Quality Management Department (MOET), MSc. Hoang Thuy Nga, Higher Education Department (MoET); Mr. Do Van Giang, Deputy Director of the Regular Training Management Department, General Department of Vocational Education (MOLISA) and nearly 20 experts from universities, academies and universities in all the North and Central regions, and South. From Vinh University, Prof. Dr. Thai Van Thanh – Vice President, Tran Ba Tien, PhD., Director of Academic Affairs Department and many leaders of training departments, schools, and students took part in this event as the host institution. The program attracted over 5,000 students in grades 11 and 12 and many parents and teachers in Nghe An Province.

The Career Orientation and University Enrollment Consultancy Program in 2019 was held in Nghe An this time with the participation of 25 institutes, academies, and universities with 40 separate counseling spaces. Right from 7 am, the consulting area was bustling because many students came early to ask for information from the schools before the official counseling program began. The consulting space of schools of economics, architecture, engineering, and technology ... concentrates quite a lot of students.

Speaking at the program, Prof.Dr.Thai Van Thanh - Vice President, affirmed that the program has a special meaning to the candidates before the national high school exam and 2019 admission. Today's opportunity to ask many questions to nearly 20 teachers from the Advisory Board from the Ministry of Education and Training, the General Department of Vocational Education, universities from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An, the School of Military and the School of Police. Based on the answers of the teachers, they will have enough information to make the decision to choose their future path in the most appropriate way.

Prof. Dr. Thai Van Thanh also shared that candidates participating in the enrollment consultancy program at Vinh University will witness "a developed, modern and integrated Vinh University, a member of the ASEAN university network, member of the International CDIO Community ".
