Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien was nominated as a Vice President of Vinh University

On January 4th, Vinh University solemnly held a Ceremony to announce the Decision to appoint Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien as a Vice President of Vinh University for the tenure of 2015 - 2020.

The ceremony was held with the attendance of Mr. Vu Dang Thanh, Department of Personnel Management, Ministry of Education and Training; leaders of Nghe An Provincial Communist Party Committee; Prof. Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, Member of the Executive Committee of Nghe An Provincial Communist Party Committee, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee, President; Prof. Dr. Thai Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoa Du, Member of the Communist Party, Chairman of the University’s Council; representatives of different departments, employees and students.

At the ceremony, authorized by the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoa Du, Chairman of the University’s Council, gave the Decision No. 5558 / QĐ-BGDĐT dated December 25, 2018 by the Minister appointing the Vice President of Vinh University for the tenure of 2015 - 2020 to Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, Member of the Executive Committee of Nghe An Provincial Communist Party Committee, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee, President, on behalf of staff and students of Vinh University congratulated Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien and hoped that the new Vice President will make a lot of contributions to the cause of building and developing the University in the new period.

Speaking for himself, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien sincerely thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, Nghe An Province, Prof. Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, leaders of the Communist Party Committee, Directorate, University’s Council as well as VU’s departments and individuals who reserved him appreciation and trust. The new president pledged to try his best to coordinate with the members of the directorate to run the university’s activities smoothly, contributing to making the University soon become a national key university and a member of the ASEAN University Network.
