Executive Party Committee

Executive Party Committee was founded in September 1959, up on the Decision No 339-QĐ/TU dated September 18, 1959 by Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. Vinh University’s Party Committee runs its operation under the regulation No 97-QĐ/TW dated March 22, 2004, by the Secretariat of the Central Party Committee on function and missions of party committees and party cells in public service institutions. Vinh University’s Party Committee was delegated powers as upper level according to the Decision No 501-QĐ/TU dated June 26, 2007, by the Standing Provincial Party Committee. It is composed of 11 institutional party committees, 43 cells (including 11 staff party cells, 11 student party cells, 21 party cells under the University’s Party Committee).

From its creation, the University’s Party Committee held 31 congresses. The 31^st congress for the tenure of 2015-2020 was held in May 2015. At this congress, participants voted for the executive committee including 21 members and Mr. DINH Xuan Khoa was nominated as the secretary of the Party Committee. In any situation, the University’s Party Committee always stands firm in terms of politic stuff, solidarity, unity of spirit and action, and it demonstrates itself as political nuclear to lead the University in the right line and policies by the Party and the State law. The University’s Party Committee directs the construction and effective implementation of the overall plan, political missions assigned by the Central Party, the State and the Ministry of Education and Training.

The University’s Party Committee has promoted well its role as leading body to help the University overcome difficulties and build the university itself a steady position among universities in the Northern Central Vietnam.  

In the coming years, Vinh University foresees its advantages, but also challenges facing the Vietnamese international economic integration. This requires Vinh University’s Party Committee and its components to improve their leading ability, role and effectiveness, their sharp scientific thought, their innovation in management methods and training organization in accordance with the world development trend. Vinh University’s Party Committee should also overcome difficulties, maintain the tradition and the solidarity, promote the democracy and the discipline, and mobilize all resources to make itself a spotless and powerful party. By doing so, Vinh University’s Party Committee would assist Vinh University in upgrading itself to the national key university, its integration to AUN and improving its role as leading educational, training and research institution in North Central Vietnam and nationwide.
