On June 12, 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong, Vice President of Vinh University led a delegation to visit and work at the AUN Office. The delegation met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni, AUN Executive Director, presenting the results and lessons learned in programme and institution assessment.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong, on behalf of Vinh University, officially applied for joining the AUN-QA.

This was the first step to join AUN-QA Community. Vinh University will complete the dossier procedure as prescribed, after receiving the quality accreditation certificate from the Vietnam National University’s Center for Education Accreditation in July 2017 expectedly.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong thanked for the warm welcome of the AUN Office and suggested Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni as well as AUN Secretariat to support Vinh University to become an AUN-QA member and to give effective solutions to improve the quality and position of Vinh University in the higher education institutions system of the country and in the region.
