On January 1st, 2018, the State Council for Professor Title in the tenure of 2014-2019 held the 7th Session in Ha Noi. At the session, the council voted for the associate professors and professors for 2017.
According to the results, 85 teachers were nominated professors and 1,141 associate professors. The number of teachers who met the requirements for the nomination is 1.74 times higher than that of last year.
The youngest professor belongs to Mr. Do Duc Thuan (Hanoi University of Science and Technology), 32 years old, majored in mathematics. The oldest professor comes to Mrs. La Hue Cam, 75 years old, majored in linguistics (Ho Chi Minh University of Pedagogy).
