The ceremony was organized with the participation of the University’s directorate, leaders of all involved departments and 3,484 new graduates in 2017. Prof. Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, President of Vinh University, chaired the ceremony. 

This year, the Council of Graduation had checked graduation standard response of each student and recognized the graduation to 3,484 students for the first batch in June 2017. Among new graduates, 22 students got excellent result, 357 very good and 2,464 good. The president decided to give the certificate of credit for good study results to 384 students.

On behalf of Vinh University, Prof. Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa stated that 54th course students had overcome difficulties to get good results in their studies. Difficulties had created them opportunities to forge their will and perseverance and to mobilize their talent so that they got the satisfactory results. He congratulated students who got good results and certificate of credit on commencement day. He also wished students a lot of luck and success in their embarkation on career.

The 54th course students had seen positive changes of the University in terms of training organization, restructuration of the University, CDIO approaching curriculum development, etc. during their studies. They also had opportunities to attend important events such as Olympiad of Marxism and Leninism Philosophies, volunteering programs, sports competitions, etc.  

On behalf of new graduates, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung, 54K Class, majored in natural resource management – environment, expressed her gratitude to faculty and staff of Vinh University for their dedication, hard work and responsibility for students. 

Among 22 students who got excellent results, two would be selected to study at Zielona Gora University in Poland under Erasmus Plus Scholarship. Ms. Nguyen Du San, student of physics, was selected to join cultural exchange program with the University of South Florida in the United States.

This year, 60 Lao students graduated. They were also congratulated by their family members coming from Lao PDR.
