The conference aimed to report the situation of studying, training and living of students in the academic year 2017-2018 and the admission and enrollment of international students at Vinh University in the academic year 2017-2018; to deploy the contents related to the management of international students during their studies and stay at the University.
The conference was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang, Vice President, with the participation of representatives of the following divisions: Dept. of Student Affairs, Dept. of Research and International Affairs, Dept. of Academics Affairs, Dept. of Planning - Finance, Dept. of Facilities and Investment Management, Medical Station, Dormitory, Management Board of the second campus, Youth Union, Student Association, Leaders and Student Management Assistants of departments and schools hosting international students and all international students at Vinh University.
At the conference, representatives from the Departments of Student Affairs, Research and International Affairs, and Dormitory reported student affairs, student regulations, immigration law and student admission in the academic year 2019-2020. It was also the opportunities for Vinh University’s staff to express their proposals and answer a number of questions raised by students. The comments and exchanges were frankly evaluated, highlighting the current status, learning situation, training, activities, advantages and disadvantages of students. At the same time, recommendations and proposals to improve the quality of learning and management of students at Vinh University were suggested by both staff and students.
On behalf of Vinh University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang, Vice President, assigned related departments to create favorable conditions and help overseas students during their stay in Vinh City, and to encourage students to complete their studies as planned; In particular, overseas students need to do better their role in promoting student enrollment for the school in the future.
At the end of the conference, the students were recommended to better understand the training program and firmly grasp the regulations and local law.
