Regulations on direct admission of students for undergraduate programmes in 2017

1. Direct admission according to the regulations by MOET:

a) Candidates, profiles, registration schedule, admission fee: Vinh University implements regulations at the Article 7 of Regulations of higher education admission in 2017 and the Correspondence No 603/BGDĐT-GDĐH dated February 17, 2017 by the MOET on the instructions of direct admission, admission priority and regular admission to universities and colleges in 2014 (hereafter called the Correspondence No 603).

b) List of majors for registration:

Pursuant to the appendix No 3, 4, and 5 of the Correspondence No 603, Vinh University defines list of majors for direct admission related to candidates who got the first, second and third prize at national secondary school gifted students competitions, including:

- For candidates who got prizes at scientific and engineering contests held by MOET, Vinh University will consider the results of their research project for direct admission. The president will make the final decision.

c) Admission for disabled candidates: Vinh University implements regulations at item g, clause 2, article 7 of Regulations of higher education admission in 2017. The candidate has to provide sufficient academic and health profile certified by competent authorities. After considering health condition upon the requirement of the major, the president will make the final admission decision.

d) Admission of oversea students: Vinh University implements regulations at item h, clause 2, article 7 of Regulations of higher education admission in 2017. Based on high school results, knowledge and Vietnamese testing, the president will make the final admission decision.

 2. Direct admission of students from gifted students high schools:

a) Candidate: Vinh University makes direct admission of students from gifted students high schools nationwide for all majors (except for majors requiring special skill testing).

b) Admission application includes:

- Application form: Click here  or : tuyen_thang_2017.doc

- High school diploma (certified copy).

- CV certified by local authority.

- Schooling record (certified copy).

- 02 photographs 4x6cm (with full name, date of birth on the back)

- 02 envelops with address and telephone number of recipient.

- Application fee (upon the regulations by MOET).
