After 3 working days, on the afternoon of January 31, 2021, the delegation of the Institute of Education Quality Assurance, National University of Hanoi, and Vinh University held the Closing Ceremony of Disbursement link index (DLIs) at Vinh University under ETEP 2020 program.

The closing ceremony was held with the participation of Dr. Nguyen Van Duong, Consultant of the ETEP Program Management Board; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Hong - Head of the IVA team and members; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang – VU President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoa Du - Vice Chairman of VU Council; members of the ETEP Program Management Board, deans of training departments and schools, related departments and centers of VU.

As in her report of preliminary verification results of DLIs under ETEP 2020 program of Vinh University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Hong, Head of the delegation, said that by 2020, Vinh University had completed 100% of its assigned tasks. In the TEIDI 2020 report, all the standards and criteria were applied according to the instructions of the Central Management Board. The assessment points and strengths, and issues that need to be solved are reasonably stated. However, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Hong recommended that VU would need to build a digital evidence system and add it into a software to serve the IVA of DLIs and many other activities such as the accreditation of educational training programs.

On behalf of the Central ETEP Program Management Unit, Dr. Nguyen Van Duong highly appreciated the dedication of the IVA team as well as the thoughtful preparation of Vinh University in serving the verification of disbursement link index (DLIs) under the ETEP program in 2020. However, in VU's self-assessment report, some activities are not as described, the encoding of documentation and building documentation base still need further improvement.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang acknowledged the dedication of the IVA team and sincerely thanked them for their efforts to complete the verification in a short time. He also acknowledged the comments and contributions of the expert team and committed to complete the self-assessment report as well as the documentation system. Regarding the recommendations of the group of experts and the Central ETEP Program Management Board, VU has also been implementing many solutions of which the implementation of an evidence culture to make the verification better as well as for educational quality accreditation. In the coming time, VU will continue to contribute to the improvement of the capacity of teachers and administrators of general education institutions together with the Ministry of Education and Training.
