1,880 Bachelor and Engineering Degrees bestowed at the 2024 Graduation Awards Ceremony

On June 24th, Vinh University held a decorous ceremony to award their bachelor’s and engineering degrees to the class of 2024 (the university’s 61st graduating class).

Distinguished for soldiering on despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the class of 2024 endured with the support of the entire university infrastructure, who worked tirelessly preparing and enhancing the application of information technology, digital transformation, and updating teaching content and methods. Rallying behind the motto “United, working together, and striving to combat and overcome the COVID-19 pandemic,” the university‘s overall training activities continued as planned, while the standard of education was maintained.

In his closing speech, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang (Rector of Vinh University) extended his warmest congratulations to the indefatigable class of 2024—the 61st cohorts.

The university‘s Science and Training Council reviewed and recognized the graduation of 1,880 students, including 38 international students from the Lao People‘s Democratic Republic. Among the graduates, 117 students graduated with honors, 371 graduated with distinction, 45 students achieved the title of Outstanding Student, and 416 students achieved the title of Good Student for the entire course. The graduation rate for the 61st cohort exceeded 70%. Many students were awarded certificates of merit and commendation at various levels and were honored to join the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The university leadership congratulated the students for overcoming a challenging and arduous journey to earn their esteemed bachelor‘s and engineering degrees.

On the occasion of the graduation ceremony and the awarding of bachelor‘s and engineering degrees, the university took time to honor and reward the aforementioned students who graduated with honors, distinction, and titles, as well as the 46 student research projects that won University-Level Student Research Awards in 2023.
